Leon Boggess GREENVILLE — Leon Boggess, 96, of 4528 Kentucky 181 S. Greenville, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at Belle Meade Nursing Home, Greenville. She was born July 3, 1913, in Muhlenberg County and was a member of Powderly Baptist Church. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Rita Fitzhugh and Beverly Bivins, both of Greenville, Linda Ramsey of Powderly and Raymond Cessna Jr. of South Carrollton; and a cousin, Lester Carender Jr. of Wyoming. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens, Powderly, officiated by Bro. Bob Lowery. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City.
