He was a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Mary Tucker, Grandmother Mary Kate Waller, and Granddaughter Kharra Davis.

He is survived by his Wife Wendi Heady Tucker, Daughters Becky (Dan) Davis, Michelle Tucker (Brad Cooper), Katie Smith, and Brittney Tucker, and six Grandchildren
