GREENVILLE – LaVonne Webster, 82, of Greenville, died Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her residence in Greenville. Ms. Webster was born June 23, 1941 in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from Flynn. She was also a homemaker. Her favorite pastimes were quilting and reading. She enjoyed the holidays when the entire family gathered together. She loved gardening, baking, and crafts of all kinds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Webster; parents, Ira “Hutch” and Gladys Browning; and brother, Duard Browning.
She is survived by her two daughters, Felicia Garrett and Shawna (Jeff) Cobb; grandchildren, Adam (Whitney) Strader, Josh (Kristan) Cobb, Brandon (Amy) Strader, Lindsey (Scott) Slinker, and Casey Strader; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11AM at Friendship Cemetery in Greenville with Bro. Troy Phillips officiating. Burial to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
