BREMEN — Larry Randall Wood, 71, of Bremen died Sept. 25, 2010, at his home. He was born in Muhlenberg County on Sept. 25, 1929. He was a retired construction worker and truck driver. He was the son of the late Arvel and Delia Ashley Wood. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Wood and Donald Wood; a daughter, Rhonda K. Wood; a granddaughter, Leslie I. Wood; and a stepgrandson, Andrew Savage. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Brown Wood; three sons, Tony (Cindy) Wood and Bryan (Monica) Wood, both of Sacramento, and Roger Wood of Bremen; a daughter, Kim Wood (Jeff) Snyder of Greenville; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; three brothers, Jerry Wood and Stevie Wood, both of Central City, and Mark Wood of Colorado; three sisters, Janice Wood Creager and Margaret Wood Clark, both of Greenville, and Jendra Wood Hildabrandt of Vincennes, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with burial in Coleman Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
