CENTRAL CITY – L.D. Edge, 89, of Central City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Edge was born July 19, 1929, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired truck driver at Southern States, and a member of Family Chapel Church in Cleaton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rosa Nell Edge. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Dianne Roberts Edge; sons DeWayne (Betsy) Edge, Sanford Wayne (Lindy) Roberts, David Lamarr (Melissa) Roberts, Christopher Lee (Amy) Roberts, and Jonathan Lynn (Holli) Roberts; daughters Diana Michelle Roberts (David) Johnson, Rosemary (Mike) Gaffron, and Julia Swaney and Bill (deceased).; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Mark Poiles officiating. Burial in Hazel Creek Cemetery.
