OWENSBORO – Kenneth “Carbin” Lee Webb, 68, of Owensboro, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 10:16PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Webb was born October 23, 1943 in Muhlenberg County. He worked at TVA, and was also a car buyer. He was a member of Pillar of Truth Church of God in Owensboro. He loved to play cards, fish, cook BBQ, and focus on his family, and he cooked the best peach cobbler. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Wayne Webb. Survivors include his son, Kenny Webb; daughters Misty Webb and Paula Webb Powell; son-in-law Joe Powell; sisters Beverly Hocker and Martha Stevenson; brother John Martin; aunts Clara Smith and Helen Gott; uncle Wallace Ray (Marie) Martin; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:00PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Central City, with Rev. Otis Cunningham officiating. Burial in West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church and Saturday after 10:00AM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
