Katie Ann Boggess GREENVILLE — Katie Ann Boggess, 68, of Greenville died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born Aug. 4, 1941, in Christian County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and John Haskins. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Joseph R. Boggess of Greenville; a daughter, Ramona Boggess Oravec and husband the Rev. Dr. David C. Oravec of Frederick, Md.; sons Joseph R. Boggess Jr. and wife Melanie Rudolph Boggess of Greenville, Dr. Michael A. Boggess and fiancee Heather Carter of Bowling Green and Christopher Scott Boggess and wife Beverly Boggess of Louisville; 10 grandchildren, Katie Oravec, Carrie Oravec, Maria Boggess, Jennifer Boggess, Phillip Boggess, Ryan Boggess, Adam Boggess, Allison Boggess, Emily Boggess and Dereck Boggess; and a brother, John Haskins and wife Rebecca Haskins of Hodgenville. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Dr. David Oravec, assisted by Dr. Ray England and Dr. Charles Midkiff. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
