GREENVILLE – Karl Richard Behringer, 66, of Greenville, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 6:20PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Behringer was born November 30, 1953, in New York. He was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, where he served as a paratrooper. After his military service, he was employed at Green River Correctional Facility for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Thompson Behringer; sons Keith Behringer and Aaron Behringer, both of Greenville; daughter Regina Mathis of Munfordville; grandchildren Alyssa Mathis and Kerrick Mathis; and sisters Debbie Schneider and Carolyn Laino, both of Greensboro, NC.
