SACRAMENTO – Karen Elaine Browder, 50, of Sacramento, died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. Mrs. Browder was born October 24, 1966, in Hopkins County. She was a homemaker and member of Sacramento Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren, family, horses, and her little dog Dixie. She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Hughes. She is survived by her husband, Gary Michael Browder; son Justin Michael (Lana) Browder of Island; daughter Trinda Nicole (Derek) Priar of Island; grandchildren Katy and Darren Priar, and London Browder; mother Mary Ellen (John) Drake of Island; and brother Danny Hughes of Island. Funeral services will be Monday, October 16, 2017, at 11:00AM at Sacramento Baptist Church, with Rev. Wendell Wood officiating, assisted by Rev. Jimmy Watkins. Burial in Island Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 4:00PM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
