Judy Pendley Tarrance 11/8/2008 BREMEN — Judy Pendley Tarrance, 61, of 284 Tarrance Road, Bremen, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born March 9, 1947, in Muhlenberg County and was a homemaker and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was director of Muhlenberg County Baptist Association Crisis Closet for 20 years and a Sunday school teacher for many years, and she loved gospel music. She was preceded in death by her father, John Smith Pendley; and a son, Steven Bruce Scooter Tarrance II. She is survived by her husband, Steve Tarrance of Bremen; son, Jonathan (Melissa) Tarrance of Greenville; daughter Retina (Mike) DePriest of Bremen; grandchildren, Retasha DePriest, Jonielle DePriest, Todd Tarrance and Jon Eden Tarrance; brother, Johnny (Sherry) Pendley of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Debbie Hunt of Greenville and Ladona (Paul) Ashby of Greenville; mother, Daisy Pendley of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Memorial Chapel, Sacramento, with the Rev. Dan Yeager officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gary Whitworth. Burial is in Carter Creek Cemetery in Greenville.
