CENTRAL CITY – Judith Ann Smith, aged 71, formerly of Central City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1952 to James T. Jones and Ellen Brown Ray in Muhlenberg County. She was a 1970 graduate of Central City High School. She is survived by her children Stephanie (Sean) Goff, Jacque (Andy) Wolford, Philia (Aaron) Howard, and Tyler Smith; and ten grandchildren including Jeffery Gregory, Bailey Cole Barnes, Ethan Barnes, Jeordie Morris, Mina Smith, Lamia Smith, Laney Howard, Emmy Smith, Macklen Smith, and Vernon Smith; an older brother, Jackie (Robbie) Jones, and sister, Jonda (Joe) Shaver; and many nieces and nephews.
Judi was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Brown Ray; her father, James T. Jones; her brother Jeffery Jones; and her sister, Janice Tabb.
Judi was a beautiful, sweet, loving woman and was loved by so many. Her favorite things were swimming, shopping, planting flowers, listening to music and being with family. She was the most gentle, and giving person to everyone she came across, whether stranger or friend. She will forever be in the hearts of so many that loved her.
Family, friends, and others are invited to Tucker Funeral Home, 113 N. 3rd St., Central City, KY 42330 on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 for visitation beginning at 11AM until the funeral time beginning at 1PM, with Rev.
