Grandmama taught me so many things, I remember HATING having to get and go to school and she would ALWAYS insist on rolling my hair and putting a ribbon in it no matter what. Now I catch myself doing the same thing with my 5 year old before I take her to school. She taught me so much about life. Whenever I took a shower I better not come out of that bathroom with my feet wet on those hardwood floors lol. Clean my plate, help set the table, help clean up the kitchen, there are so many things I could go on an don and on, but today she has made me a better person. Because without her and of course my Grandaddy, there is no telling where I would be. One of the memories that stick out most in my head, is one afternoon we were waiting on Grandaddy to come home from work so we could sit down and eat supper. It was stir fri. In the back of my mind, I was thnking surely she doesnt expect me to eat that mess. I believe I was ten at this time. But she did expect me to eat that. so during dinner I excused my self and went to the bathroom and pretended I was sick. Well as we all know Grandmama was a very very smart lady and nothing could get past her. I came out and she still insisted I eat that stir fri. I ate most of it but never again did we have it. It was always a joke if anyone suggested stir fri. I am going to miss her so much, more than she will ever know. All those times I wished I would have answered or called them back when they called and also came home more.. I love you Grandmama and Im so glad youre not hurting anymore and no longer suffering. Ill see you again one day.
