Joyce Ann Jones DRAKESBORO — Joyce Ann Jones, 60, of Drakesboro died at 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Harlan County. She was a secretary for Reed Minerals in Drakesboro and a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church in Drakesboro. Survivors include her husband, Lowell Thomas Jones of Drakesboro; a son, Tommy Jones of Drakesboro; two daughters, Tammy Jones Harrison of Drakesboro and Amy Joyce (Steve) Ford of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Verna Faye Lear of Georgia; grandchildren Megan Harrison, Hunter Jones, Emma Ford, Tristan Harrison, Tre’ Lambert, Dylan Ford, Sarah Turner and Brody Lambert; her mother, Virginia Helton of Harlan County; and three sisters, Brenda Austin and Jenny Johnson, both of Harlan County, and Dennie Post of Chicago. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Mike Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.
