GREENVILLE – Joyce Evelyn Hendricks, 83, of Greenville, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:54AM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Mrs. Hendricks was born June 15, 1941, in Muhlenberg County.  She was a retired cook and clerk at Uncle Lee’s, and a member of Luzerne General Baptist Church.  She enjoyed going to yard sales with her long-time friend Sissy, and listening to old country music.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Clara Hardison; sisters, Lillian Ball, Glodean Bowen, Mae Dell Cox, and Margie Harper; and brother, James “Buck” Hardison.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hendricks; sister, Faye Whitney (Bill) Ford; and several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2024, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating.  Burial in Memorial Gardens in Powderly.  Visitation will be Friday after 11:00AM at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Heartford House.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
