CENTRAL CITY – Joyce Alene Brown, 83, of Central City died Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:08AM at her residence. Ms. Brown was born on February 10, 1943 in Centertown. She was a Homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, going on family trips, and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her father, William Decker; mother, Mammie Decker; and brothers, William Decker, Jr., and Junior Decker.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Brown; daughter, Gloria Drake (Marty); son, Jesse Brown (Cindy); three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Ruby Uzzle, and Helen Murphy (Jerry).

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 2PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Bill Huff officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
