GREENVILLE – Joshua Robert Fulkerson, 36, of Greenville, died Monday, February 10, 2014, at 10:27PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Fulkerson was born June 1, 1977 in Muhlenberg County. He was a self-employed diesel mechanic and member of New Life Church. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. He enjoyed fishing, and was a cancer survivor of three years. Survivors include his mother, Beverly (Danny) Blandford of Central City; father Robert (Kim) Fulkerson of Graham; sisters Wendy (O.J.) Spoon of Greenville and Makaela Fulkerson of Graham; fiancee’ Brandi Higgs of Greenville; step-son Skylar Ray of Greenville; grandmother Anna Jean Fulkerson of Greenville; nieces and nephews, Alexsie Spoon, Braden Spoon, and Overton Conrad Spoon; and several aunts and uncles. Services will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 12:00 noon at New Life Church in Powderly, with Rev. Wayne Rice officiating. Visitation will be Saturday after 11:00AM at New Life Church. GREENVILLE- Joshua Matthew Fulkerson, 28, of Greenville died Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Fulkerson was born on March 11, 1991 in Muhlenberg County. He was a self-employed construction worker and attended Corley Chapel Church. Josh loved Sara, their children, and all outdoor activities. He loved his cat, and called the cat, “CAT”. He enjoyed singing old Johnny Cash songs. Mr. Fulkerson is preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Walker. Survivors include his parents, John (Teresa) Fulkerson of Greenville, Robin (Rick) Dyer of Oakland City, IN; brother, Nicholas (Holly) Fulkerson of Greenville; sister, Jennifer Ray Fulkerson of Greenville; son, Jace Carter Fulkerson; step daughter, Jaylyn Hayward; fiance, Sara Stewart; nieces and nephews, Carlie Nicole Ray, Cassidy Taylor Ray, Cameron Michael Fulkerson, Kenley Fulkerson, Kyle Owen; grandparents, Clarence and Mary Greenwood. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Tommy Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Corley Chapel Cemetery.
