BREMEN – Josephine Caudill Fields, 79, of Bremen, died Saturday, June 8, 2024 at her residence in Bremen. Ms. Fields was born July 14, 1944 in Perry County, KY. She worked as a bookkeeper and attended the Church of God. She was married for 58 years to the love of her life, Paul Fields. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed sharing her art and encouraging the next generation of artists in her family. She was a painter, quilter, writer, avid reader, and lover of the performing arts. She also cherished her miniature poodle, Rosie, and spent lots of time admiring the birds that visited her bird hotel. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Caudill; mother, Ada Day Caudill; and sister, Gearldine Caudill Hurt.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Fields; sons, Scott Wooton (Ruth Wooton), Tony Fields (Treasa Fields); daughter, Tammy Wilkerson (Chris Wilkerson); grandchildren, Morgan Duff, Autumn Burke (Spencer Burke), Whitney Patterson (Cody Patterson), Holly Sutton (Zack Sutton), Kaylee Jo Wilkerson, and Sophy Fields; Six great-grandchildren and another on the way; sisters, Jeanie Kittinger (Chuck Kittinger), Polly Crowley (Carroll Crowley), and Etta Caudill; brother, Felix Caudill (Ann Caudill); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Adam Brown officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM -2PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
