HOPKINSVILLE – John Carl Wells, 62, of Hopkinsville, died Friday, August 14, 2020, at his residence. Mr. Wells was born on November 30, 1957, in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church and active in many projects and establishing the cemetery fund and care of the cemetery. He was the son of William Wells and Imogene Coombs Wells. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Ronald Wells. He is survived by his mother, Imogene Coombs Wells; three brothers, Kenneth (Marilyn) Wells of Christian County, David (Lisa) Wells of Hopkinsville, and Kevin (Heather) Wells of Greenville; one sister, Sheila Jackson of Greenville; eight nephews; one niece; and great-nieces and nephews. Cremation was his choice. Services will be held at a later date with Tucker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of lowers, donations may be made to the Cave Springs Church or the Church Cemetery Fund.

This was a grandfather to me and i just want to say he was a person that you could not get mad at. I loved him so much. And it was very hard accepting his lose. I used to sit on his lap and he would tickle me at our cookouts.I wish i could see him again and just hug him. But i got my words in before he died . Jhon i love you.
