CENTRAL CITY – John Rickey Minton, age 66, of Central City died Friday, January 12, 2024 at his home.  John was born December 11, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL and was retired from Wal-Mart as a maintenance man in Paducah.  He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Minton; step-mom, Janet Minton; brother Kenny Minton; niece, Misty Minton; nephew, Josh Minton; grandparents, Bill and Oneita Minton; step-daughter, Lori Jenkins.

He is survived by his sister, Misty Minton Brown and Denise Cox; brother, Greg (Kathy) Gibson; niece, Chelsie Brown, Dawn Gibson, Vanessa Bell, Margaret Gibson; nephews, Ethan Brown and Greg Gibson, Jr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, 536 Bradford St., Beechmont, KY.  Bro. Mike Chambers and Bro. Bobby Allen will officiate.  Burial will follow in Riverside Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  The family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the John R.
