SACRAMENTO – John Thomas Rich, 89, of Sacramento, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. Mr. Rich was born November 6, 1922 in McLean County. He was a brick layer foreman, and a member of Towers Chapel Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Stringer Rich. Survivors include his daughters, Delana Rich of Sacramento and Becky (Alan) Dockrey of Madisonville; grandchildren Jessica Dockrey and Jenny Dockrey; great-grandchild Veda Cook; and sister Sylvia Yvonne Henderson of Sacramento. Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Bobby Nall officiating. Burial in Free Union Cemetery.
