CENTRAL CITY- John Paul Smith, 62, died Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Smith was born in Fort Knox in Hardin County on December 12, 1963. He was a laborer for Local 1392 Union Hall. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Doris Smith.

Survivors include his sisters, Beverly Smith and Georgetta Barron; step sister, Gala Freels.
