CENTRAL CITY – Joey Earl Watkins, Sr., 67, of Central City, died on June 28, 2026 in Central City. Mr. Watkins was born in Chicago, IL on March 23, 1959. He was a Truck Driver and Diesel Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ida Watkins; and brother, Billy Watkins.

He is survived by his son, Joey Earl Watkins, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Clark; sister, Gloria (Tim) Coats; several nieces and nephews; and seven grandchildren.
