BROWDER – Jodi Ann Rust, 67, of Browder, Kentucky, passed away peacefully with family by her side in Oviedo, Florida on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Born on December 7, 1957, in Willard, Ohio, Jodi lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and care for others. She was the beloved wife of the late Ricky Rust, and together they shared a life full of laughter, devotion, and countless memories.
Jodi is survived by her children Jason (Kristina) Rust, Aaron (Lynsie) Rust, and Jerrod (Tiffany) Rust; and her grandchildren Peyton, Janzen, Alex, Rett, and Jack, who affectionately dubbed her “Grandma Joji.” She is also survived by her extended family and dear friends who will forever remember her warmth and generosity.
Known for her nurturing spirit, Jodi found joy in life’s simple pleasures, gardening, cooking, baking, and caring for those she loved. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, her garden a reflection of her patience and care, and her heart always open to family and friends.
Jodi’s life was a testament to quiet strength and steadfast love. She created a home filled with kindness, faith, and laughter, values she and Ricky shared. Her legacy lives on in the way she made others feel seen, loved, and cared for.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, Kentucky, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
