Your mother was so sweet to have come to my moms funeral last year. She was I believe the first one to walk in the door, and one of the last to leave that day. She watched her video over and over, and was so good to tell stories about mom. Im so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know she and my mom and are having a grand ole time! Sincerely, Ann Wickliffe

I was so saddened when I heard of Joanne's death. We were really close friends in high school, and had just reconnected last year while planning a reunion. We just picked up with emails and phone calls and a few visits back to Greenville. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in the days ahead.

Jo and I go away back, she was manager of the Lake Malone State Park and I managed the Lake Malone Lodge. We had some great times. Always a lady handled herself well. She will missed by all who loved and knew her. Linda, I know how much you loved her, and how close you were. I will be thinking of you all during this sad time, and praying that God will wrap his loving arms around you and see you thru this terrible time, RIP Joanne

Knowing Jo Ann has been a real blessing. She had the attitude of a real christian. She not only had love and happiness in her heart but she would share it. And, it didn't matter if you were a stranger, but I don't think she ever met one. She will sadly be missed. She was great to work with in the Experience Works program. And, where there are about 20 of us, she really stood out among us as the one who really lit up the room.My prayers are with her family at this time.

I remember when Joanne played softball with us at SBC. That was years ago, but she had as much energy and fun as the rest of us did. What a beautiful lady she was. But most of all, what a heart she had for others.

I didn't know Joanne personally but we are neighbors of Melonie and Ken. We would like to express our sympathy. I had an occasion to call Joanne, one time when I thought Melonie's dog was running loose for fear he would get hurt. Turns out I was mistaken, it wasn't their dog but Joanne was very nice about it and promised to let them know. She was a very pretty lady and I am sure she will be missed greatly.
