For several years she worked in her husband’s dental office as a receptionist. Early activities were the 20th Century Club, bridge club, and 4-H leader. Joann also started a Brownie troop and volunteered with Hospice of Ohio County. Joann was a member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church where she taught a children’s Sunday school class and was a member of The United Methodist Women. Current church membership is at Mt.
