DRAKESBORO – Jimmy Ray Pendley, 59, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Pendley was born October 26, 1958, in Greenville. He was a dedicated employee, and worked for many years in maintenance operations, the Labor Union, and most recently for Armstrong Coal Co. He was a family man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and watching his children and grandchildren in sports, including baseball, softball, archery, rodeo, and soccer. He was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Pendley. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Lambert Pendley; mother Anna Pendley of Drakesboro; son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Crystal Pendley of White Plains; daughter Erica Pendley of Penrod; daughter and son-in-law Maryanna and Clint Moryl of Benton; grandchildren Trinity Pierpoint, Trenton Pierpoint, Jaycee Pendley, Hailee Pendley, Braylee Moryl, and Daylon Pendley; one soon-to-be great-grandson; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Darrell Chapman; sisters-in-law Sue Wells and Anita Burden; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 11:00AM at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Ron Nofsinger officiating, assisted by Bro. Greg Brooks. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 5:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City and Tuesday after 10:00AM at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church.
