Jimmy Darrell Pearson GREENVILLE — Jimmy Darrell Pearson, 66, of Greenville died at 2:47 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at his home. He was born Nov. 5, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Greenville, where he was a deacon and trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruby Pearson; and a brother, Bobby Neal Pearson. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Cornette Pearson of Greenville; a son, Brian Pearson of Greenville; two daughters, Yvette (Frank) Bacon and Tina (Mike) Beliles, both of Greenville; six grandchildren, Nick Woodruff, Isaac Woodruff, Sarah Woodruff, Rachel Beliles, Elijah Beliles and Samuel Beliles, all of Greenville; a brother, Richard Pearson of Louisville; and two sisters, Freda Lovell of Beechmont and Joyce McPherson of Beech Creek. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery by the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
