BELTON- Jimmy Glenn Mohon, 86, of Belton, died Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:51AM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Mohon was born July 5, 1936 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired Coal Miner and Navy Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrle and Bill Mohon; and brother, Joe Mohon.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Bolin Mohon; sons, Glenn (Debbie) Mohon, Brian (Kim) Mohon, and Dirk (Kyle) Mohon; grandchildren, Kaitlin (K.C.) Denson, Josh (Chrissy) Mohon, Jacob Mohon, Hope Mohon, Brandon (Betsy) Keltz, Jenna Keltz (Jacob) Kime; great-grandchildren, Brandley Denson, Braxton Denson, Bennett Denson, Layla Mohon, Finnik Mohon, and Ozzie Tingley; and brother, George Mohon.

Sending condolences to the entire family. Many of my happiest memories include our families together at both Mining City on Green River, and Lake Malone. Of course fishing was always involved in both catching and eating. He will be missed.

I worked with Jimmy at the Housing Authority. I thought that him and Mary were two of the SWEETEST PEOPLE that I was so lucky to know!! You will surely be missed. Party on in Heaven Jimmy ❤️
