BELTON – Jewell Wayne Drake, 67, of Belton, died Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 6:28PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  Jewell was born November 25, 1953, in Butler County.  He was retired from TVA, and a member of Nelson Creek Pentecostal Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver McKinley Drake.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Drake; son Joseph (Brittney) Drake of Belton; daughters Kayla Smith of Belton, Alissa (Michael) Mayes of Beech Creek, and Gabrielle Perry of Evansville, IN; mother Margie Drake of Beechmont; grandchildren Kensley, Karsen, McKinnah, Kinisen, Joseph “Kash”, Oliver, Savannah, Skylar, Ethan, Aiden, Jacob, Gracelynn, Adalynn, Konnor, and Peyton; brother Timmy (Trace) Drake; and sisters Connie (Troy) Peveler, Diane Drake, Vonda Spears, Beverley (Donald) Jackson, and Darlene Miller.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 22, 2021, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Paul Uzzle, Jr. officiating.  Burial in Rochester Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
