GREENVILLE – Jerry “Bubby” Wayne Fulkerson, 70, of Greenville, died Monday, October 5, 2026, at 7:59AM at his home. Mr. Fulkerson was born August 6, 1956, in Hammond, Indiana. He retired as owner of J & J Sanitation, and was a member of New Life Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Fulkerson; brothers, Robert Fulkerson, Timmy Fulkerson, Peter Fulkerson, and Randall Fulkerson; daughter-in-law, Lindsey Fulkerson; and great-granddaughter, Iris Skye Gore.
Bubby was the world’s greatest husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed restoring muscle cars, was a proud Maxwell House coffee fan, and could often be found sitting on the front porch keeping an eye on the neighborhood. Bubby was caring, loving, family-oriented, and always ready with a joke. He had a way of making the people around him feel loved and bringing laughter wherever he went. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and the memories he created with them will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Crick Fulkerson; son, Jamie Fulkerson; daughter, Jennifer (Johnny) Hopper; grandchildren, Paige (Adam) Kelton, Jeremiah (Kara) Gore, and Graceland Fulkerson; great-granddaughters, Ivy, Meadow, Sage, and Willow Gore; brother, Eddie Fulkerson; and many nieces and nephews.
