GREENVILLE- After battling a long illness, God called one of His finest home. Saturday morning, September 1, 2018, Jerry Lynn Vincent, of Greenville, took his last breath with his wife, Sue of 60 years, by his side. Jerry was a retired Service Foreman from Kentucky Utilities after 38 years of service. He was a member of Green River Chapel. There he served as a deacon for 52 years and Sunday school teacher 30+years. Family was always the utmost importance to him, and spending time with them was one of his favorite things to do. Jerry truly had a heart of gold, especially for the less fortunate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gun shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, G.O. (Sotty) Vincent and Marge Vincent. Jerry is survived by his wife, Lola Sue Vincent, son Jeffery Lynn (Debra) Vincent and son Larry Dean (Karen) Vincent. Four grandchildren, who know him as “Poppy.” Kali Lynn (Luke) McKenzie, Bailey Ann Vincent, Brock Asher Vincent, and Kaden Issac Vincent. One great grand child, Jackson Luke McKenzie. And his beloved cat, Sotty. All of which love him deeply and will miss him dearly, who he has left a great legacy to follow after. Visitation will be at Tucker Funeral Home on Monday after 5:00 PM.
