CENTRAL CITY – Jerry Lee Noffsinger, 80, of Central City, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 8:16AM at his home. Mr. Noffsinger was born July 22, 1936, in Muhlenberg County. He was a deep coal miner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Noffsinger and Gladys Evitts; brothers Donald and Wayne Noffsinger; sister June Pressley; and son Jerry Lee Noffsinger Jr. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Lawson Noffsinger; son Jim (Lawana) Noffsinger of Madisonville; daughters Sandi Noffsinger (Glenn) Griffin of Calhoun and Valaire Noffsinger (Robbie) Edmonds of Island; grandchildren Ashley Brewer, Justin Ferguson, Tj Israel, Mary Beth Noffsinger, Jeremy Griffin, and Garrett Edmonds; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Patton, Carol Pressley, and Sue LaRaviere; and brother Tommy Noffsinger.
