CENTRAL CITY – Jerry Mural Hall, 81, of Central City, died Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 10:53 PM at his residence. He was born on July 5, 1943 in Midland, KY in Muhlenberg County. He worked as a coal miner and owned and operated Quick Trigger Predator Control. He was a Master trapper and was on the Governor’s Board of the Fur Takers of America for over 20 years where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame, as well the Kentucky Chapter. He was a published author for several magazines and books on the topic of trapping. Mr. Hall was an avid gardener and a UK fan. He was a member of Nelson Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Corinne Hall; daughter, Keena Chumley; sister, Alice Walker; and brothers, Robert Hall, Johnny Hall, and David Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Elaine Hunsaker Hall; two children, Kecia Fulcher, and Jerry Hall; grandchildren, Hunter (Hannah) Fulcher, Kyler Laycock, Lauren (Collin) Rose, Shelby (Justin) Hocker, Colten Dunn, Tristen (Olivia) Hall, Nayana Chumley, and Tre Chumley; great-grandchildren, Blakely Dunn and Boston Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Tim Adcock officiating, assisted by Rev. Curtis McGehee. Burial in Nelson Creek Cemetery.
