My Condolences to Barbara and Our Family.

My Cousin Wayne.......I am so shocked and sorry that you left us so early in life. I remember us growing up and playing there in Morgantown, Kentucky. Spending sometimes Christmas together or Summertime vacations together or at Grandma's house in Clifty or when we had the opportunity to come and visit. I know life took us different directions and we hadn't seen each other in awhile......but, i was so happy to see you when you came to visit us here in Alabama at Mama and Daddy's house a few months ago. We spent some 2-3 hours talking laughing and remembering our childhood and then looking forward to staying in contact with each other because we are Family. I was moved and really wanted that for us because, I love you Wayne, my cousin. I remember those words you said, that our Family was important and we needed each other. I know things has changed and your there with Aunt Sue and others from our Family. I will pray for our family your sisters and Barbara (your wife). You will truly be missed, Wayne. Until we meet again one day.

Your Cousin, Gary Goodson

A man of little words is how I would view Wayne. He was a man who was passionate about things that most would think is odd. Wayne being apart of my life was what help shaped me into the person I am. One of my fondest memories was at Christmas one year when I was younger he had gift wrapped a bicycle for me. Funniest and most precious thing ever. We all known Wayne for his services of logging and for his love of Fords. But I knew him like a father and someone who always cared about my well being. I never did thank him for all the things he had done for me but I would like to think he knew by the actions in which we expressed. I will truly miss him and will always love him.

My heart goes out to the family, parents, sisters, children, and wife. I have known Wayne most of my life, he was one of my brother's best friends when I was in high school. He loved playing checkers with my Dad. They would sit and play for hours and hours. Wayne was determined he would eventually win, but never did. However, they bith really enjoyed that time.
