Jenettie L. Piper Jenettie L. Piper, 89, 2767 Merle Travis Blvd., Beech Creek, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville. She was born in Muhlenberg County Sept. 29, 1920. She was a homemaker and member of Cleaton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Penueal Lee Piper, and daughters, Anna Aldridge and Ruby Shepherd. Survivors include her sons, Ray Lee (Sue) Piper of Belton, Monnie (Peggy) Piper of Ennis, Penueal J. (Dorothy) Piper of Beech Creek and Donnie Earl (Anna) Piper of Cleaton; daughters, Patsy (Cecil) Jarvis of Browder, Betty (Terry) Bishop of Moorman; brothers, Jack Sampson of Brooksville, Fla., and Pete Sampson of Indianapolis; 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Jeremy Jessup at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Cleaton.
