Jeffrey was one of the most fun Uncles a boy could have. He provided me with the mischievous situations whenever we would visit. Probably the most vivid and memorable one, was encouraging me to chase a hen on the farm. As others tried to stop me, I remember Jeffrey cheering me on thinking it'd just be a hoot. Lo and behold, I caught the hen to everyone's surprise, and instead of telling me to put it down, he told me to bring it inside for dinner, and I listened. Brought it inside flapping, yelling, and laughter for all! I don't remember being more tickled by following an order, and I have him to thank for it! Remembering that always brings a smile to my face. I'm sure there's thousands of encouragements he gave over the years, but that one stuck. He will be dearly missed in my heart, and I will always remember his laughter, smile, and kindness to a small boy. Love you Uncle Jeffrey.
