BELTON – Jason Glenn Blake, 47, of Belton, was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Hopkinsville. Jason was born August 4, 1975 in Louisville. He was a 1993 graduate of Muhlenberg South High School and was employed by Boardwalk Pipelines. Jason previously served as a volunteer fireman at Beechmont Fire Department. He was actively involved at Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist church, where he has been a lifelong member. Jason had a contagious personality. He loved making people laugh and was well known for his ability to make every situation seem funny. Those who knew him well, knew underneath that ability to make people laugh was a person who was kind, loving and giving. If Jason knew there was a need in our community, he was quick to offer assistance without anyone else knowing how he contributed. Jason was a perfect example of love beyond measure. His greatest passion was his love and devotion for his family. He enjoyed spending time outside and loved to fish. He also loved riding trails and exploring places with his group of riding friends. He was married to the love of his life, Susie Woodruff Blake. He was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his brother, David; and grandparents, Roy and Imogene Miller, and Harold and Mary Frances Blake.
Jason is survived by his wife, Susie; son, Shane (Becca) Blake of Belton; daughters, Taylor (Trent) Arnold of Madisonville and Jenna Rice of Belton; his mother, Yvonne (Neal) Travis of Belton; father, Joe Blake of Penrod, sister-in-law, Angie Sampson of Belton; niece, Megan Blake of Belton; three step-brothers, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
