BEECH CREEK – Janet Ann Chumley, 76, of Beech Creek, died Monday, September 14, 2026 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Chumley was born July 22, 1950 in Chicago, IL. She retired from her career as a Claim Adjuster for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Norman Chumley; and parents, James and Mary Maranto.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Michael) Bayless; brothers, James (Barbie) Maranto, and Patrick (Dawn) Maranto; sister-in-law, Patsy Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1PM at Rochester Cemetery, with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be Saturday at 11AM-12:30PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
