CENTRAL CITY- Jane Carol Mitchell, 76, of Central City died December 23, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mrs. Mitchell was born on February 15, 1947 in Muhlenberg County where she lived as a homemaker. Mrs. Mitchell loved Kentucky basketball and her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lois Young; sister, Lou Ann Young.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Mitchell; sons, Jeff (Lisa) Mitchell, Kevin (Kathryn) Mitchell; grandchildren, Devin (Annie) Mitchell, Sage Mitchell, Claire Mitchell; great grandchild, Walker Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Central City. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mt. Zion Presbyterian Cemetery Fund.
