James Freeman Wiggins 12/20/2008 CENTRAL CITY — James Freeman Wiggins, 95, of 304 N. Cherry Hill Road, Central City, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at his home in Central City. He was born in Muhlenberg County Sept. 11, 1913, was a retired coal miner and a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlie Avaline Wiggins; son, Bobby Wiggins; and a son-in-law Buddy Whitmer. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Helen Whitmer of Central City; grandchildren Teresa (Mitch) Cundiff of Central City, Angie (Dencil) Hughes of Central City and Barry Whitmer of Louisville; great-grandchildren Ashley (Jared) Topmiller and Krista Cundiff; sisters Nadine Eades and Ethel Brown, both of Bremen; and caregivers Teresa Allen and Linda Randolph. Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with the Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating and the Rev. Gene Garner assisting.
