GREENVILLE – James Thomas Wood, 77, of Greenville, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 8:33AM at his residence. Mr. Wood was born December 10, 1946 in Muhlenberg County. He was a Coal Miner and attended the Holiness church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lila Wood; parents, James and Janie Wood; sister, Thelma Sadler; and brother, Terry Wood.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Bradley) Latham, Thomas (Renea) Wood, Kenneth Wood, and Codi Wood; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brother, Donnie Wood.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Allen officiating. Burial in Wyatts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
