BROWDER – James Dennis “Denny” Rice, 64, of Browder, died Thursday, September 3, 2020, at his home. Mr. Rice was born February 24, 1956, in Chicago, IL. He was retired from York after 25 years of service, where he worked as an air conditioner lab technician. He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, war re-enactments, and watching UK basketball and the Chicago Cubs. He was a staunch Republican, and supported President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and James Rice; and sister Terry Rice. He is survived by his daughters, Erica (Scott) Newman of Drakesboro and Andrea Weber; son Joshua Rice; sister Patricia (Michael) Jackson; brother Michael (Loria) Rice; and grandchild Cain Vaught.
