CENTRAL CITY – James “Dub” McEunn, 89, of Central City, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 6:45PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. McEunn was born October 11, 1927, in Muhlenberg County. He was a custodian at Greenville Elementary School, and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jonell Peveler; and brothers Robert McEunn and Glen McEunn. He is survived by his brother, David McEunn of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. E.W. Greenwalt officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I got to know James when he shopped at Kroger where I worked. James always took time to speak and talk with me. He was always in a good mood and friendly. I got to go visit with him and he took me in and showed me a train set in one of the rooms in his house. Glad I got to know him.
