James Robert ‘Bobby’ Lindsay DRAKESBORO — James Robert “Bobby” Lindsay, 75, of Drakesboro died at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, in Beechmont. He was born March 17, 1935, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired miner, worked at the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center and was a member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lindsay; a brother, Gene Lindsay; and a sister, Martha Lindsay. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Kim) Lindsay of Drakesboro, James (Carol) Lindsay of Beaver Dam and Richard (Kim) Lindsay of Beech Creek; grandchildren Jerrod and Alice Lindsay, Tyler, Taylor and Thomas Lindsay, Miranda Lindsay, Racheal Bruce, Jessie Bruce, Michelle (Chris) Hazlebaker and Heather (Rob) Schindler; great-grandchildren Anna Lindsay, Allie Lindsay, James Henry Lindsay and Cheyenne Hazlebaker; and a sister, Mary Dotson of Wingo. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kerry Vincent officiating, assisted by the Rev. Darren Pentecost. Burial will be in Peanut Cemetery in Drakesboro.
