Mike, I wont be able to make the funeral but I want you to know I am thinking of you and your family. I was just looking at some pictures of us when we all went camping at Ky Lake. I remember the tent and carrying water but it was fun. I also remember coming to your house and looking at all of your Mom's avon stuff and how she would give us girls samples. Many years have passed but my dads love for your dad increased. It pleased him so much when they came to mom and dad's 25th anniversary. It was a surprise for my dad and he was so pleased that your mom and dad came. I just want to tell you how much he meant to all of us. I am staying with Hanna's daughter in tennesse. Lisa Vanhoose Bartolotto. She and her husband Enu want to send you their sympathy and hope that maybe sometime you and your wife can come to visit us. Again our hearts and love go out. Love you always Jenny

Although I only had the opportunity to see Uncle Jimmy a few times, I have to say that he was one of my favorite people. It was always a treat to see him & talk with him. The last time I saw Uncle Jimmy was at his brother's funeral, my Papa Joe, and I remember my visit with him well. He was funny as expected and very caring & sweet. I will always remember Uncle Jimmy with a smile and will miss him very much.

My grandfather was one of the nicest men that I have ever had the honor of knowing. I will take his memory with me as someone who was kind, gentle, thoughtful, giving, and loving and made me proud to be his grandson of forty years. Everytime that I was with him, he was always attentive and interested in what was going on in my life, and eager to share memories of his past. Due to his big heart and generosity, I have many items he has passed to me and my brother that will help to keep those memories of him and my grandmother alive. In recent years I was grateful to be able to return home to Kentucky and share time with him. I will hold dear, memories of my grandfather playing cards with myself, my father, and my son - four generations of Kellens - and know that my son will be old enough to have those memories of him. I will miss him dearly, and always love him. Goodbye Granddad!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
