DRAKESBORO – James “Wig” Gunterman, 76, of Drakesboro, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 6:25AM at his home. Mr. Gunterman was born January 12, 1940, in McLean County. He was a truck driver for 30 years, worked at G & G Welding, and owned Gunterman Pay Lake. He was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Gunterman; parents Harem and Zelma Gunterman; daughter Nelda Adcock; and son Curtis Jones. He is survived by his wife, Judy Gunterman; sons, Lowell (the late Joyce) Jones of Drakesboro and Anthony (Gloria) Gunterman of Drakesboro; daughter Charlotte (Larry) Shrodes of Drakesboro; daughter-in-law Kathy Jones; son-in-law Ernest Adcock; grandchildren Brian Jones, Tammy Harrison, Michael Jones, William Jones, Amy Ford, Raymond Kaehler, Rodney Decker Jr., Ryan Decker, and Anthony Gunterman II; great-grandchildren Megan Edwards, Tristan Harrison, Elizabeth Jones, Sarah Turner, Hunter Jones, Kaylee Alvey, Kaylee Fleming, Autumn Decker, Karter Gunterman, and Ryann Decker; brother Floyd (Shirley) Gunterman; sisters Wanda Anderson and Lucille (Curly) Larue; sister-in-law Nora Mae (the late Frankie) Wright; and brother-in-law Buddy (Charlotte) Martin. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial in Coleman Cemetery.
