James Earl ‘Buddy’ Garrett Published: Saturday, December 5, 2009 12:11 AM CST CENTRAL CITY — James Earl Buddy Garrett, 65, of Central City died at 10:47 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Muhlenberg County. He was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Rachel Garrett; a son, Roger Cramer; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Opal Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Garrett of Central City; two sons, Jimmy Cramer of Central City and Wesley Garrett of Bremen; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Darrell Garrett of Bremen and Scott Garrett of South Carrollton. Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Mike Foster officiating, assisted by the Rev. Chris Anderson. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
