BREMEN – James Elvis Evans Sr., 77, of Bremen, died Monday, March 10, 2025 at 12:25PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mr. Evans was born in Muhlenberg County on March 10, 1948. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Greenville and retired from A&G Egg. He enjoyed Karaoke and dancing, and he never met a stranger. He loved his Lord and was a positive person, always finding the good in others, choosing to ignore the negative. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellodean Evans; son, James Evans, Jr.; brother, Larry Evans; sister, Shelby Jean Crick; and daughter-in-law, Anita Evans.

He is survived by his sons, Elvis Earl (Tammy) Evans, and Lynn (Lisa) Evans; grandchildren, Alisha (Kyle) Wade, Baylee (Steven) Abney, Megan Evans, Justin Evans, and Melissa Evans; great-grandchildren, Mollie Abney, Addie Wade, Kristen English, Abel English; and sisters, Carileen Ellis, Jo Nell Ewing, and Mary Stump.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
