CENTRAL CITY – James Clark Bullock, 88, of Central City, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 8:25PM at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Bullock was born November 20, 1928, in Muhlenberg County. He worked in farming and logging, was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran. His hobby was CB radios, and his CB name was “Bean Picker”. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, old western movies, hunting, traveling, playing cards, and he loved good food. He loved his wife Jewel, who preceded him in death, and the rest of his family. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Irene Bullock. He is survived by his son, James Clark Bullock (Judy) Bullock, Jr., of Central City; daughter Robin Beth (Robert) Lindsey of Morehead; brothers Billy Ray (Evenda) Bullock, Gerald David (Rhonda) Bullock, Hollis (Beth) Bullock, and Eddie (Lois) Bullock; sisters Rachel (Carl) Rhodes, Sue (Freddie) Geary, Mary Bullock Arnold, and Luticia (Kevin) Koper; grandchildren Haley, Sara, and A.J.; great-grandchildren Parker, Penny, and Lucy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery.
