OWENSBORO – James Allen Rager, 67, of Greenville, died Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7:00PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mr. Rager was born May 9, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Rager; and brother, Elvis Rager.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Nash Rager; children, Jessie Shadler, Jennifer Bowman, and Cheryl Shadler; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa (Hershel) Miller; brother, Sammy (Lillian) Rager; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Bob Thurman officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
